Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Duties

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and guest requests.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
  • Support banquet services during special events as required.
  • Prep vegetables, assemble salad bar

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Experience in cooking or food preparation is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A background in hospitality, culinary arts, or hotel services is advantageous.
