Responsibilities
Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division
(Hexagon) is seeking a
Software Developer
to join our team in the United States.

  • Work under moderate supervision to complete assigned tasks.
  • Write and implement efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Collaborate with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues and perform unit testing.
  • Recommend and implement changes or enhancements to improve the quality of products and internal procedures.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field.

Education / Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of at least one object-oriented (OO) programming language (e.g., .NET, Java, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Preference will be given to candidates located in the Roanoke, VA area.

Willingness To Learn

  • Frontend frameworks like Vue and Vuetify.
  • Backend frameworks and technologies such as .NET.
  • REST APIs and their implementation.
  • Databases (relational and/or non-relational).
  • Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
