This role is essential to maintaining compliance with data protection regulations while upholding the highest standards of security and confidentiality. You will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of confidential waste from collection through disposal, working closely with clients and service providers to maintain strict chain of custody procedures and ensure seamless operations across multiple locations.What your day-to-day will look like:You will manage the secure collection, handling, and disposal of sensitive documents and confidential materials from designated containersYou will ensure proper segregation of different waste types including paper and electronic media while processing confidential waste requests via CMMS systemsYou will arrange safe transport of sensitive documents using secure, locked collection bins and coordinate with service providers for pickup/drop-off servicesYou will maintain accurate logs of bin locations for both stationary and temporary bins while supporting project-related work and program optimizationYou will interact professionally with clients during collection visits, addressing questions regarding waste disposal proceduresYou will adhere to strict chain of custody procedures and maintain security protocols during collection, transport, and processingYou will complete required documentation and certificates of destruction while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)Required Qualifications:You must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving recordYou must have the ability to pass background checks and maintain security clearanceYou must demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict proceduresYou must have excellent organizational and time management skillsYou must have physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periodsYou must have manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling materialsPreferred Qualifications:You should have previous experience in waste management, logistics, or similar fieldYou should have experience with document destruction or confidential waste handlingYou should have knowledge of data protection regulations and security protocolsYou should have experience with CMMS systems and documentation proceduresYou should have familiarity with material handling equipment operations and maintenanceLocation: Multiple client locations - St. Paul, MNEstimated compensation for this position:20.00 – 24.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
