Brief Description
Job Duties:

  • Promptly answer phone calls from patients and referents seeking Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as other behavioral health services
  • Schedule patients for DBT and other behavioral health services
  • Guide callers through scheduling processes and provide education about available services
  • Process internal and external referrals; place outbound calls to schedule requested services
  • Monitor and update the DBT waitlist in coordination with DBT site leads and directors
  • Manage EHR inboxes; promptly address and respond to messages and inquiries assigned to DBT Admissions and Registration
  • Communicate scheduling outcomes with referents
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with referents and team members
  • Verify and update patient demographic information
  • Address patient complaints and concerns and escalate to management when appropriate
  • Attend or review notes/recording for mandatory meetings and trainings
  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Display empathy and sensitivity in navigating complex situations with patients
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to multi-task, handle stress, deescalate, and problem solve
  • Positive attitude and ability to be flexible in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in use of computers and typing skills
  • Must be able to work full time with scheduled office hours of 40 hours per week
  • An interest and/or experience in psychology, counseling, the behavioral sciences, social work, or healthcare is strongly preferred
  • 6 months experience in an administrative role at Nystrom & Associates strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma required

Summary
Working Model: Hybrid/ remote right away

Pay: $19.70-$20.88 per hour
