is seeking an
O&M Network Engineer
to support a national leader in secure systems for a federal partner located in
McLean, VA.
The O&M Network Engineer will design, configure, and maintain complex network systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with customer and Microsoft teams to ensure secure, resilient network operations.

Responsibilities of the O&M Network Engineer include:

  • Deliver technical presentations and capture customer requirements
  • Design and configure network systems and assist with infrastructure deployment
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve network issues
  • Implement patches and configuration changes across network devices
  • Develop documentation for systems and objectives
  • Collaborate with customer and vendor teams to support technical strategies
  • Ensure compliance with security and control objectives

Qualifications for the O&M Network Engineer include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5–8 years in network engineering
  • Expertise in network device configuration and CLI navigation
  • Strong knowledge of WAN/Internet transport and routing (BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN)
  • Proficiency with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols and network mapping
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute)
  • Familiarity with cloud orchestration and network device management
  • Understanding of Layer 1 technologies (cable plant, circuits)
  • Knowledge of network security methodologies (STIGs, KG's, red/black transport)
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Compensation for the O&M Network Engineer includes:

  • Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
