What We Are Looking For

An individual contributor role focused on monthly P&L analysis, budget coordination, annual & long-term planning, variance investigation versus forecasts and prior-year results, and conducting financial simulations to support key executive decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly P&L reports by compiling and analyzing variances against plan and prior-year results, supporting the FP&A Manager in identifying key trends and developing actionable insights
• Coordinate budget inputs and updates across departments; consolidate data to support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes led by senior finance staff
• Provide analytical support in the development of the company's annual and multi-year financial plans, including scenario modeling under the guidance of the FP&A Manager
• Perform detailed variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics to help explain business drivers and support executive-level reporting
• Build and maintain financial models to support ad hoc analysis and simulation requests from the FP&A team, enabling data-driven decision-making by management
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data used in reporting and planning
• Prepare materials and reports used in business performance reviews and financial presentations, working closely with the FP&A Manager
• Assist with ongoing process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing financial reporting efficiency and insight generation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and charts
• Ability to interpret financial data and present findings in a clear, concise format to support management decisions
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis in a corporate setting
• Familiarity with ERP and financial planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
• Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and interest in developing dashboarding skills
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and synthesize into executive-ready summaries

Pay Scale: $105k - $115K (DOE) annually + eligible for an annual bonus
