Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, janitorial services, and hospitality management, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure quality control, and foster a positive work environment within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and checklists for efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet overall hotel or facility objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training activities.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeper management practices, including staff supervision and quality control.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, hospitality standards, and customer service excellence.
  • Expertise in various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and specialized custodial tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Good communication skills for effective coordination with staff and guests.
  • Prior experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus. This position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience within our facility. We value dedicated professionals committed to excellence in hospitality management.

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
