Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Digital Engineering Manager (K Level) to support our team based in Everett, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a positive, forward thinking, and energetic team of technical and engineering professionals to support BCA Digital Engineering organizational objectives and Leadership focus areas. In this role, you will support leadership managing the integration, development, and/or execution of technical roadmaps and multi-million-dollar digital investments across BCA engineering functions, in alignment with Digital Transformation program objectives and enterprise digital engineering strategy.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Engineering Product Lifecycle.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience working on commercial airplane programs or providing technical support to airplane owners/operators or relevant industry experience
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- 3+ years of experience working with internal or external stakeholders (e.g. business partners, airline customers, finance, external suppliers, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering or MBA
- Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values and Behaviors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of innovative solutions in engineering challenges.
- Demonstrated ability in team building, coaching, and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.
- Proven ability to manage and empower teams in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent program management skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $134,300 - $181,700
