Summary:
- The Nursing Quality Adviser is a master's prepared nurse who supports the Nursing Education and Magnet Department in alignment with the following competency domains: quality, innovation & process improvement; teamwork and collaboration; work process & results achieved; decision-making and problem solving; and patient/customer/client experience. The Director of Nursing Education and Magnet delegates to the Nursing Quality Adviser accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ANCC Magnet designation process including application, documentation and site visit preparedness
- Provides project management support to nursing leadership and education
- Leads and participates in quality improvement projects
- Coordinates data collection and submission of nursing sensitive quality indicators
- Assist with the survey distribution and data dissemination of employee engagement surveys
- Utilizes written and oral communication skills to assist with department projects
Credentials:
- Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Master of Arts or Science (Required)
- 1+ years Experience in related field
