Job Summary

Direct Support Providers (DSPs) at Frontline Healthcare work closely with individuals who have mental or developmental disabilities, promoting independence and enhancing daily living skills. DSPs create personalized care plans, assist with self-care, and provide support in home management tasks, all while fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as assigned.
  • Accurately complete visit records and documentation in a timely manner for quality assurance.
  • Report any changes in the client's condition or needs to the house manager and/or Director of Operations.
  • Perform essential household services to ensure health and safety in the home environment.
  • Coordinate and assist clients with scheduling and attending appointments.
  • Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation according to the client's dietary needs and preferences.
  • Support clients in setting and achieving daily goals, encouraging social and community engagement.
  • Administer medications as needed and in accordance with care plans (if applicable).
  • Help clients maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
  • Identify and report any safety concerns or hazards in the home.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Car Insurance.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (provided by Frontline Healthcare if you dont have it already).
  • Annual DODD Certificate.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to participate in physical activities as required by client needs.
  • Capability to bend, lift 35 lbs. or more, and stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Ability to assist clients in sitting up or standing, supporting their mobility within the range of motion (if applicable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
