Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves handling various warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and possess the skills necessary to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This position offers opportunities for growth within warehouse management and distribution functions, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our supply chain.DutiesReceive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucksPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)Stock shelves and organize inventory in accordance with inventory control proceduresOperate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and order pickers in compliance with OSHA standardsMaintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems like AS400Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followedAssist in shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and labelingConduct regular inventory counts and participate in cycle counts to ensure stock accuracySupport warehouse supervisors in daily operations and process improvementsFollow safety guidelines for heavy equipment operation and materials handlingSkillsProven experience with inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment processesProficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacksFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) including AS400 or similar platformsMechanical knowledge related to packaging, materials handling, and equipment maintenanceAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking, picking & packing tasksExperience with shipping & receiving procedures and order picker operationsStrong understanding of OSHA safety standards for warehouse environmentsMechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic equipment issuesExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control tasksAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution settingThis Warehouse Worker position is vital to maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
