This position is primarily a field-based role involving travel 3–4 days per week, most weeks of the month. The person hired will perform on-site upgrades, installations, and technical support on a wide range of telecommunications and microwave radio equipment. While you may work with cutting-edge technology, many projects also involve servicing and upgrading legacy systems that remain essential to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform field upgrades, installations, and on-site system configurations
  • Travel weekly to customer locations (3–4 days per week) to support project needs
  • Troubleshoot and identify technical issues in the field
  • Document work performed and communicate daily progress to the Operations Manager
  • Work collaboratively with teammates across departments
  • Maintain organized workspaces, vehicles, and toolkits

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Background in field work; telecommunications experience preferred but not required
  • Basic electronics or mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to follow test procedures and interpret documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn
  • Capable of working independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
  • Self-starter mentality and a positive, solution-oriented mindset
