Accounts Receivable Clerk

Blue Island, IL Onsite)

  • Pay: $20-25/hr. depending on experience

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

One of the most trusted names in disaster restoration services with offices in Chicago's South suburbs is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, persuasive individual to fill our Accounts Receivable Clerk position. This is a full-time position. This is an individual that is committed to conducting business according to our core beliefs:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, billing, and collections
  • Monitor AR aging, track payments, make collection calls, and work with team members on outstanding balances
  • Maintain receivables under 90 days through proactive follow-up and escalation
  • Process invoices and payments with accuracy
  • Track and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Investigate and resolve payment or invoice discrepancies and customer billing issues
  • Keep financial records organized, accurate, and up to date
  • Provide general accounting support, including reconciliations, credit card entries, and processing vouchers

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Your talents will be rewarded with a competitive, base hourly salary of $ $25.00, based on your experience.
