We are looking for Line Cooks that are dedicated to their craft and passionate about the hospitality industry. It is important to be a motivated self-starter that possesses a hunger for learning and growing with a team. Must be proficient, respectful of the restaurant's equipment and work in a neat and organized manner

Position AM Line Cook:

We are looking for a skilled, energetic cook to work in the evening, which requires a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask in an organized manner. Experience in a steakhouse or fine dining restaurant is preferred. You will be responsible for prepping, cooking and dressing dishes, while supporting the Sous-Chef's efforts to improve the general quality of the cuisine served. The ideal candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customers satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

· Setting up and stocking the stations with all the necessary supplies in the time manner.

· Maintain the station set, prepare ingredients to use in cooking (peeling, chopping, julienne cutting, brunoise dicing, cross chopping, etc)

· Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a time manner.

· Maintain the work station keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

· Clean up station and take care of leftover food.

· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Requirement:

· Cooking experience and good knife skill.

· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned task.

· Understanding of various methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.

· Knowledge of order/fire system

-Required to have your own tools

What you will be doing:

  • Prep and cook while working smart, clean, organized and calculated
  • Following the direction of the Executive and Sous Chefs
  • Maintaining quality and standards
  • Take direction and feedback to insure quality of product
  • Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

  • 2 years of experience
  • Fast paced, high standard kitchen experience is a must
  • Availability to work a varied schedule that will include evenings and weekends
  • Strong passion and dedication to food and hospitality
  • Polished, professional and energetic
  • Ability to be adaptable and abide by policies and culture of the company
  • Commitment to quality
