A well-established Paint Supply company is looking for a full-time driver with a clean, valid driver's license.

POSITION SUMMARY: Establish good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. Maintain an excellent driving record. Monday through Friday. 40 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for all deliveries to commercial accounts from the store location

  • Pick up and deliver items to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors

  • Collect account payments. Checks payment received with the invoices for each delivery

  • Check with dispatcher before leaving store to coordinate any last-minute pickups or deliveries

  • Verify invoice matches purchase order for pickups for vendors

  • Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups. Request customer's signature on each delivery

  • Turn in all paperwork and undelivered items

  • Advise manager if the delivery truck needs repairs and maintenance

  • Assist in the warehouse as needed when not making deliveries

  • Follow all Company safety policies and procedures

  • Immediately report any accidents/incidents to the store manager

Must possess a valid driver's license subject to the following conditions:

  • No DUI/DWI conviction within the previous five years

  • No more than two "moving violations" within the previous 36 months

  • No operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver's license

  • Not have automobile insurance canceled because of a poor driving record within the previous 36 months

  • Must be capable of lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds

  • Must be capable of unloading items for customers in a safe and secure manner

  • Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers to ensure proper identification of parts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
