What You'll Do

  • Greet and assist customers with warmth and enthusiasm
  • Share product knowledge, recipe suggestions, and cooking tips
  • Handle, package, and display fresh baked goods in accordance with food safety standards
  • Manage inventory and restock products to ensure excellent store presentation
  • Maintain clean, organized, and appealing displays (merchandising)
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately
  • Pour and sell alcohol samples when required (must be 21+ to pour, 18+ to sell)

Who You Are

  • Passionate about healthy food and helping others make great choices
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused with excellent soft skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing daily responsibilities
  • Experienced in sales, retail, or food service (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of merchandising and inventory management is a plus
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to pour alcohol)

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • A background in culinary arts or nutrition or other health related
  • Personal or professional experience with gluten-free diets or familiar with food allergies and cross contamination
  • Creative ideas for food displays or customer engagement
  • Passion for functional medicine or integrative health
  • Retail experience with upsales

Required Skills:

Excellent Customer Service

Sales Experience as evidenced by resume and references

Using a point of sale

Passion for cooking and health

General knowledge of food allergies and/or gluten free

Positive attitude and naturally friendly

We are open 7 days a week 9am-6pm.

Must be responsible enough to open and or close shifts alone. Must be able to lift 10-15lbs.

You will be required to take a 2-hour Food Handler Course through DHEC and pass the certification test. (We will pay you for your time if you do not have this already)
