Job Overview

Marvin Composites is hiring an Assistant Shift Supervisor at our Salem, VA plant. We're looking for a proactive leader with manufacturing experience who is comfortable working around equipment. You'll support our production team and shift supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.  This role focuses on developing people, building a strong team culture, and making sure we deliver safe high quality work every day. 

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 6:45 PM


• Week 1 (36hrs): Sun, Wed, Thur
• Week 2 (48hrs): Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat

Pay:

Base rate: $26-35/hr
• + $4.00/hr weekend premium

Effective wage potential (base+weekend premium+OT): $29-39/ hrpay based on experience

  • Help lead in continuous improvements by supporting SOP updates, post-crash reviews, and practical process improvements 
  • Partner with the Shift Supervisor to keep the shift running smoothly and maintain a productive and team focused environment
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Technical degree preferred
  • Ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions
  • Experience leading others preferred
