Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving a variety of mechanical issues. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers while ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
  • Conduct alignment and suspension work to ensure vehicle handling is optimal.
  • Repair or replace components such as shocks, struts, and air brakes as needed.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair status.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
  • Dealership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
  • Proficient in working with GM vehicles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous for certain repairs.
  • Ability to perform auto body repairs as needed.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
  • Experience with auto estimating for repair costs is beneficial.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to the workplace.
  • Must have owns tools: Jack, jacks stands, Basic mechanical tools

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $1,400.00 per week

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
