A global Am Law firm in Chicago, IL is looking for an experienced Trademark Docketing Specialist to join their team.

Annual Salary:
$80,000 to $90,000

Schedule:
Full-time, Hybrid (after 90 days)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain trademark dockets with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform quality control and daily operations of the firm's docketing system
  • Maintain and organize client files and electronic databases
  • Research trademark databases for due diligence purposes
  • Work closely with IP attorneys on dedicated projects as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks for the IP department
  • Review mail and relevant docket deadlines and input into the docketing system
  • Work overtime as needed

What The Firm is Looking For

  • 5+ years of trademark docketing experience in a law firm or in-house setting
  • Strong knowledge of docketing requirements and systems
  • Extensive understanding of US and foreign patents, PAIR, Trademarks, and PCT
  • Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work overtime as needed
