Mechanical System Engineer

Mechanical System Engineer:

  • This role requires active, hands-on involvement
  • Ideal experience: 2–4 years with a BS degree or 1+ year with an MS
  • Looking for a proactive self-starter
  • Work will primarily be in an experimental lab environment involving 3D modeling, molding, and related tasks
  • Will take a lead role in applying quality systems such as process controls, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), and assurance measures
  • Must have experience with 3D printing
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is required
  • Strong CAD skills are essential

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality engineering practices, systems, and processes that fulfill both regulatory standards and customer expectations
  • Acts as a key quality advocate, helping to enhance visibility, understanding, and communication around quality initiatives across teams, departments, and business units
  • Provides targeted quality engineering support across areas such as new product development, manufacturing operations, and system or service maintenance
  • May focus in one or more specialized engineering areas, such as Design Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Software Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Investigations, Measurement Science (Metrology), Microbiology, or Chemistry
