Responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring smooth shift transitions to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness by implementing rigorous food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
  • Oversee Toast POS systems for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs focused on food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and safety protocols.
  • Handle budgeting responsibilities by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and hospitality regulations while fostering a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a talented team aligned with company values.
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional service.
  • Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable to expand business offerings.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in food production, kitchen management, and overall restaurant performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in high volume restaurant and bar environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and kitchen management practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and interviewing candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and food safety compliance.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality excellence.
  • Experience managing shifts efficiently in high-volume restaurant settings including casual dining or hotel restaurants.
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations related to health & safety standards.
  • Ability to lead with energy, motivate teams effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
