As a Permitting Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained for various projects. Your expertise will guide project teams through the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local regulations and facilitating smooth project execution. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to streamline workflows and enhance project delivery.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of permit applications to relevant authorities
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify permitting requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop project schedules that align with permitting timelines
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all permits, approvals, and correspondence
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to address inquiries or issues related to permits

  • Assist in contract management by ensuring compliance with permitting conditions
  • Support project management efforts by providing timely updates on permitting status

Experience

  • Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies and tools
  • Experience in managing contracts related to construction projects

  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
  • Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred
