How you'll contribute
A Housekeeper on our Environmental Services team who excels in this role:
- Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
- Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
- Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition, and stores in appropriate storage area when finishes with shift.
- Will float to many areas of the hospital such as waiting rooms, common areas, Operating Rooms and patient rooms.
Schedule: This is a Full Time, Night shift position that is Benefit eligible. The work hours are 3pm – 11:30pm with rotating weekends.
Bonus: A $1,000 Sign on bonus is available for this role and is paid out within 3 payments over a 12 month commitment period.
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses: If designated to drive for the facility, must have a clean, current NM driver's license and appropriate insurance as per the facility driver's agreement.
