Position Summary:

The Program Coordinator – Girl Scout Academy (GSA) is responsible for supporting partnerships where teachers, school staff, or community leaders deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) directly to their students or youth participants. This position

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Partner Support

  • Facilitate four-hour Girl Scout Academy partner leader trainings, qualifying participants for CPE professional development hours and a complimentary annual Girl Scout membership.
  • Lead quarterly partner check-ins to monitor progress, address challenges, and share best practices.
  • Supply partners with curriculum, program kits, marketing materials, and updated event information to enhance troop engagement.
  • Provide guidance on building and sustaining Girl Scout troops in school or community settings.

Program Facilitation & Delivery

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment that promotes Girl Scout values, leadership development, and positive relationships.
  • Incorporate Girl Scout traditions, cooperative learning, and girl-led activities to deepen engagement and connection to the Girl Scout movement.

Relationship Building & Community Alignment

  • Build strong, professional relationships with site staff, teachers, caregivers, and girls.
  • Ensure programming supports both Girl Scout leadership outcomes and the school or community partner's youth development goals.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for GSA partners, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.

Resource & Event Coordination

  • Keep partners informed about upcoming Girl Scout events, STEM opportunities, council initiatives, and the Cookie Program.
  • Manage and distribute program resources, materials, and supplies to ensure partners are equipped to succeed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate special events, family nights, and recruitment activities tied to GSA partnerships.
