Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each dining experience is memorable, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care. We are a breakfast, brunch, lunch restaurant. Day time hours only. Weekends are a Must. At least 1 year of experience severing in a dinning restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
  • Take accurate orders using OpenTable or other systems, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Sanitate tables and dining areas between guests to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens to assist guests effectively.
  • Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, especially in fine dining settings.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
  • Proficient in cash handling with basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
  • A commitment to sanitation practices and health regulations within the restaurant setting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
