We are seeking a highly motivated Plumbing Estimator for our Las Vegas office As part of our team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401k, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.

General Responsibility:

The duties of the Plumbing Estimator is to manage the development and completion of plumbing bids. Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, labor, material specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Oversee communications for all bids with builders, superintendents and general manager.

Significant Duties:

• Industry knowledge in fast paced residential & multifamily production plumbing
• Develop and facilitate the proposal process for clients including budget and pricing development, proposal writing and contract negotiations
• Monitor all addenda, scope changes and bid forms to ensure they are processed and incorporated into the estimate in a timely manner
• Industry knowledge in small projects less $100k,T.I, rehab & remodel projects
• Pursue business opportunities with new and existing customers by building long-term business relationships with key decision makers
• Prepares plumbing budget by studying plans, updating specifications, and identifying project costs
• Obtains bids from vendors by specifying materials, negotiates price
• Identify opportunities to reduce project cost or improve on the project schedule
• Continually marketing the company and looking for new business
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all estimating activity
• Identify Safety plans; permit requirements; bonding requirements and include in the bids
• Manage time to be able to bid multiple projects simultaneously
• Interact with customers, engineers, and local jurisdictions to understand and incorporate project objectives
• Performs within the values and guidelines of 20/20 and adheres to the 20/20 Policies and Procedures
• Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes
• Other duties or projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Five or more years' in the field of plumbing estimating, industry specific in plumbing
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A Nevada Drivers' License, with a clean DMV record
• Ability to meet regularly with existing customers, call on potential customers, manage prospect tracking, and work with estimating and operational teams to produce effective proposals
• College level courses related to job functions or degree preferred (but not required)
• Construction knowledge related to building single-family homes
• Strong and solid typing skills, and a proficiency Microsoft Office and Excel Software programs
• Analyze technical data, and negotiate pricing and contracts
• Extensive knowledge of how corporate objectives impact estimating, estimating strategies and techniques and of various types of construction contracts
• Able to read architectural drawings and structural drawings
• Experience with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to make decisions based on limited information and time, able to draw the inferences from the information to support the decision
• Excellent communication and mathematical skills required
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and endure the pressure of meeting production needs

Pay: $60, $90,000.00 per year
