Merchandiser

  • Create and maintain displays: Arrange large appliances and related products in eye-catching, strategic displays. Ensure the store layout promotes customer flow and showcases different models effectively.
  • Set up promotions: Implement and manage displays for promotional events and seasonal sales, including coordinating signage and special offers with marketing teams.
  • Ensure brand standards: Maintain clean and organized product displays in compliance with the appliance manufacturers' and store's visual guidelines.

Inventory and product management

  • Stock and restock inventory: Monitor inventory levels in the store and warehouse, restocking the sales floor with appliances as needed.
  • Manage inventory accuracy: Track product intake and sales to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Report inventory levels to managers and buying teams.
  • Handle product returns: Coordinate the processing of returned or damaged appliances, including arranging for credit with suppliers.
  • Work with vendors: Collaborate with manufacturers' sales representatives and distributors to schedule product deliveries and coordinate special promotions.

Service and returns coordination

  • Process damaged goods: Manage the logistics for damaged merchandise, including organizing the return and credit process with manufacturers.
  • Coordinate with service department: Liaise with the store's service department to handle the storage and movement of appliances awaiting repair or those that have been serviced.
  • Organize returns area: Maintain a clean and orderly returns area for customer drop-offs and manage the transfer of items to the warehouse.

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
