Our client a well University is seeking a Research Project Manager in their New York, New York Location

Front Desk & Office Operations

  • Greet and assist all visitors at the front desk.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and messages.
  • Manage office supply inventory, including water deliveries, printer maintenance, toner, and coffee/tea restocking.
  • Process and distribute mail, packages, courier deliveries, and e-faxes.
  • Handle key card access requests, key distribution, and maintain front desk organization.

Research & Project Support

  • Assist with bibliographic management and referencing
  • Support creation of figures, posters, and presentations for manuscripts and conferences.
  • Assist with IRB submissions, annual reports, and maintain MTAs and DSAs.
  • Support grant submission processes, including formatting biosketches and coordinating documentation.
  • Follow up with business offices on research agreements, sponsor payments, and contracts.

Other Duties

  • Perform complex office support tasks with a high level of accuracy, judgment, and confidentiality.
  • Take initiative and work independently while being responsive to shifting priorities.
  • Additional administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with senior leadership and in a confidential, fast-paced research or academic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Zoom, OneDrive, Zotera/Mandalay.

Other Requirements

  • This position is full-time and fully on-site.
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information is essential.
