We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for students. Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students.
  • Support students in their daily activities, ensuring they understand instructions and feel encouraged to participate.
  • Help manage classroom behavior by implementing effective behavior management strategies.
  • Provide individual attention to students, particularly those with special needs or autism, to facilitate their learning experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and respect among students.

Skills

  • Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, private schools, or Montessori environments.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in math concepts to assist students with their academic needs.
  • Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development.
