Position Overview: As a Tennis Shop Clerk, you play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with our company's high standards. You will be at the forefront of generating sales and ensuring our merchandise is presented attractively, creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Efficiently manage and replenish inventory, ensuring merchandise levels meet customer demand and promotional activities.
• Merchandise Handling: Receive, inspect, and prepare merchandise, maintaining accurate records and ensuring the quality presentation of products.
• Sales and Promotion: Utilize your sales acumen to engage and assist customers, setting up promotional displays that attract and delight.
• Store Presentation: Maintain the aesthetic appeal of our retail space, ensuring cleanliness and organization that enhances the shopping experience.
• Customer Transactions: Handle the checkout process with precision and friendliness, ensuring a seamless purchasing experience for our guests.
• Team Contribution: Play an integral role in team efforts, participating in tasks and initiatives that contribute to our collective success.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by relevant experience or training.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Service Excellence: A passion for delivering outstanding service and a keen eye for detail.
• Physical Agility: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adapting to both indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Working inside in temperature controlled elements
• Sitting or standing at a desk
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the tennis shop and surrounding outdoor areas for extended periods
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 25 pounds, including equipment and merchandise
• Ability to bend, kneel, or reach to restock merchandise and maintain displays
• Comfortable handling outdoor court maintenance equipment as needed, such as nets or benches
• Regular exposure to sun and need for sun protection
