Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and shine.
  • Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or specialized equipment when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures to uphold a bright and inviting environment.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables to ensure continuous availability.
  • Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.
  • Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks when necessary, including light repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams.
  • Support residential painting or touch-up projects as part of broader facilities upkeep when required.
  • Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and maintenance activities for accountability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
  • Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and pressure washers.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete daily duties efficiently without compromising quality.
