Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to provide onsite, client-facing support within a Cisco-centric enterprise network. The ideal candidate will have experience in routing, switching, wireless access point (WAP) troubleshooting, and be comfortable working in environments with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure). You will collaborate closely with internal IT teams and client stakeholders to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary onsite network engineer, providing hands-on support to end-users and client IT teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cisco route/switch/WAP environments.
Assist with daily network operations and infrastructure support in a Cisco ACI environment.
Escalate complex issues to senior network staff (e.g., CCNP-certified team members), while managing client expectations effectively.
Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing network projects, upgrades, and maintenance windows.
Perform basic configurations and updates on Cisco switches, routers, and wireless devices.
Maintain accurate documentation of network layouts, incident resolutions, and technical procedures.
Provide clear, professional communication in client interactions, including status updates and technical explanations.
3–5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
Solid understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
Familiarity with Cisco ACI (preferred but not required to be an expert).
Experience supporting and troubleshooting wireless access points (WAPs) and connectivity issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-facing mindset.
Ability to work independently onsite with minimal supervision.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a multi-site or campus environment.
Exposure to network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
