Pinnacle Pest Control - Now Hiring PART TIME

Job Description:

We are currently conducting a search for a hands-on Part-Time Controller, reporting to the President. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the finance\accounting functions. Responsibilities include the following:

Finance\Accounting:

§ Preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements

§ Supervision of A/P and Payroll functions

§ Preparation of budget, income projection and cash flow summary

§ Prepare Quarterly Financial for bank

§ Act as an interface with outside CPA firm

Project/Job Costing:

§ Preparation and review of Job Cost Reports

§ Prepare Cost Allocation Reports

§ Prepare Monthly Payroll Allocation to jobs

§ Prepare Hard Cost Reports and reconcile with our software system

Cash Management:

§ Monitor the firm's cash position as needed

§ Maintain adequate controls

§ Prepare Monthly Bank and credit card Reconciliations

§ Monitor the firm's purchases to ensure that proper approvals are received

Payroll:

§ Monthly Work-Comp payment and management

§ Prepare semi-annual 401(k) report for third party administrator

§ Ensure that the company meets all state and federal government requirements regarding employment and compensation, employee records and payroll practices.

§ Reconcile all revolving vendor accounts

§ Manage all company insurance policies

Administrative:

§ Monitor the ongoing operation of QuickBooks software

§ Provide long-term planning for accounting and cost accounting software\hardware solution Job

Requirements:

§ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting of Business Administration Preferred

§ CPA\MBA a +

§ Minimum of 5 years' business accounting experience

§ Must have experience as a Controller

§ Experience in construction or service industry a plus

§ Exceptional Microsoft Excel\Word skills Desired Qualities

§ Excellent communication skills and able to work well with all levels of staff

§ Industrious and detail oriented.
