Product Marketing Specialis

About the Role:

As a Product Marketing Specialist - Product Launch at GL.iNet, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of our cutting-edge networking products and driving brand awareness through digital channels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, quality assurance, marketing, and operations, to coordinate product releases and execute digital marketing campaigns. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, think strategically, and deliver results will be essential in this role. This role is available to candidates based within the greater Seattle area in Washington, USA.

What You'll Get To Do:

Develop and implement your go-to-market strategy:

• Develop and execute comprehensive product release plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends, and incorporate insights into product release strategies.
• Collaborate with product development teams to develop and execute effective product launch strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate and track activities related to product releases, such as feature development, testing, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Content creation for ongoing product promotion:

• Create and optimize engaging product pages on our website, including compelling product descriptions, images, and specifications.
• Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, to increase brand visibility and drive product sales.
• Craft persuasive and compelling copy for press releases, product announcements, blog posts, and other marketing collateral.

Email marketing, performance analysis, and optimization:

• Manage and grow our email subscriber list, create and send engaging eDMs (electronic direct mail), and analyze campaign performance.
• Monitor and analyze website and campaign performance metrics using web analytics tools to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing efforts.
• Contribute to process improvements and drive efficiency in the product release and digital marketing workflows.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of working experience in a similar role within the technology or consumer electronics industry; candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior role
• 1+ years of marketing or go-to-market experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience working in new product launch.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience
• Strong project management skills, with an ability to keep multiple work teams and partners in sync on timelines and what's needed to succeed
• Passion for technology and networking products

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the needs and preferences of developers and technical buyers.
• Experience in the software or technology industry, with a focus on technology products on crowdfunding platforms (e.g., Kickstarter, Indiegogo).
• Knowledge of and familiarity with developer products and tools.

Pay and Benefits:

• Estimated Base Pay Range: 65,000-$90,000 USD
