EFS Catering is a fast-growing catering company known for quality, consistency, and exceptional guest experiences. We are currently seeking experienced Banquet / Prep Cooks to join our culinary team.

Position Summary

The Banquet / Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, executing high-volume production, and supporting banquet events with efficiency and professionalism. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and skilled in basic and advanced kitchen techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform food preparation with strong knife skills
  • Follow standardized recipes and production requirements
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns as needed
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous banquet, prep, or line cook experience required
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Compensation:

  • $17–$19 per hour, based on experience and skill set
  • Opportunities for growth and increased responsibility

Schedule:

  • Part-time and full-time positions available
  • Flexible scheduling depending on event volume
