Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive services and repairs, ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in Diesel and Automotive repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fuel filters, transmission service, drivetrain service and tire rotations.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in heavy lifting as required during vehicle service operations.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to foreman and upper management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Diesel and Automotive repair, including mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fuel filters, transmission service, drivetrain service, tire services, and even alignments.
