Job Summary

We are seeking a medical assistant with a background in dermatology for our office in South Denver. We are a non-corporate owned office with a single practitioner, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. The ideal candidate would have experience both in dermatology and as a Mohs surgery tech. We are primarily seeking a medical assistant to work full-time, but would consider part-time as well.

Experience: Candidates must have successfully completed a medical assistant training program, and have a minimum of one year's experience as a medical assistant in a dermatology setting, actually assisting with procedures.

Job Duties:

  • Administration of local anesthetic by injection
  • Assist with the removal of precancerous lesions
  • Assist with biopsies
  • Followup with patients to inform them of biopsy results, and scheduling of follow-up procedures as required
  • Post-treatment wound care
  • Assist with general dermatology procedures
  • Insurance and prescription preauthorizations
  • Clean and restock exam rooms and ordering of medical supplies as needed

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
