Sr Software Developer - AWS & Python
Job Summary
The Sr. Software Developer role is pivotal in driving the development and optimization of software solutions within our organization. With a focus on AWS Python and REST API the candidate will contribute to the creation of robust applications that enhance our asset and wealth management services. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site ensuring a balanced work-life experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS Python and REST API to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable applications that support asset and wealth management.
- Ensure the integration of software components into a fully functional software system.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development.
- Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
- Document software designs processes and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement necessary changes to enhance software functionality.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines ensuring timely delivery of software solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all software development activities.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong proficiency in AWS Python and REST API with a proven track record of successful software development projects.
- Demonstrate experience in asset and wealth management domains which is considered a valuable asset.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Showcase strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on developing scalable applications.
- Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site responsibilities effectively.
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Salary Range: $90,000 – $140,000 annually
