You also have the authority to assign work functions to Maintenance Technicians as needed.
A Day in the Life:
Your day will be dynamic and hands-on, focused on keeping each aircraft flight-ready, safe, and compliant. Typical responsibilities include:
- Maintenance Oversight: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with work issued by the Director of Maintenance (DOM), Maintenance Control, and Maintenance Planning, and that all work complies with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.

- Technical Reviews: Review Service Bulletins, Advisory Directives, and work orders to assess and implement required modifications or upgrades to aircraft systems.
- Manuals & Documentation: Read and interpret manufacturer and company maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the most effective methods for repair or replacement.
- Equipment Scheduling: Maintain and track maintenance schedules for all company equipment and assets to ensure readiness and reliability.
- Material Management: Assist in maintaining adequate materials and parts inventory by anticipating requirements and reordering as necessary.
- Aircraft & Equipment Movement: Supervise and assist in aircraft or equipment movement operations as required.
- FOD & Housekeeping: Conduct regular flight line and hangar inspections to prevent foreign object damage (FOD) and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Customer & Leadership Interaction: Meet with customers and company leadership as needed to discuss maintenance progress, updates, and operational readiness.
- Resource Management: Ensure that all necessary materials, parts, and equipment are available to complete assigned tasks without delay.
- Shift Turnover: Verify that maintenance technicians complete proper work turnover documentation and communication prior to the end of each shift.
- Safety Focus: Promote a safe and clean working environment, emphasizing FOD prevention and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Additional Duties: Perform other qualified duties as assigned to support aircraft maintenance operations and team success.
Why You'll Love This Role:
