We have a full time/part time prep cook position for our Chick-fil-A location in Miramar, FL.

We are looking for eager and energetic professionals with prior work experience to help us have a Remarkable impact on our guests and community.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Shifts vary from opening at 6am to closing at 11pm
  • Must be 16 or older
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace-hustle is a must
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude, coachable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Efficiently create prepped "cold" menu items, such as wraps, salads, fruit, and catering trays, that meet Chick-fil-A standards
  • Keep up-to-date with new products
  • Thoroughly clean, and cut all fruits and vegetables for salads
  • Wash and put away kitchen dishes
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Kitchen Director
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Be involved and contribute at team meetings
  • Carry out instructions given by the leadership team and operator

REQUIREMENTS

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
