Assistant Nursing Director

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that align with the center's mission and goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Participate in budgeting and planning processes to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure excellent customer service
  • Identify and address areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • At least [Minimum Years of Experience] years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as an Assistant Director or similar role
  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
