About the Role:

As an IT Field Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our services run smoothly by providing top-notch technology support. You'll travel across various counties in Michigan to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems and equipment. Your work will help safeguard client data and enhance operational efficiency, allowing our service delivery professionals to focus on providing exceptional care without technological interruptions.

What You'll Do:

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems in offices, group homes, and other facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, networks, and medical devices.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide on-site training and support to healthcare staff on using IT systems and equipment.
  • Document all service requests and maintenance activities in our ticketing system.
  • Travel within Michigan for location-specific repairs, equipment replacements, and installations. Occasional overnight stays may be required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Associate Degree or three years of equivalent experience in computer-related support, plus at least three years of IT support experience.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, networks, and PC operating systems.
  • Proficient in the setup and configuration of computer systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to triage, prioritize, and juggle multiple incidents simultaneously.
  • Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Valid and unrestricted Michigan driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must meet all employment eligibility and Spectrum hiring requirements at the time of hire.
