Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Apt buildings through regular maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on building systems and common areas
  • Respond promptly to maintenance tickets submitted by residents
  • Troubleshoot and complete general repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in mechanical and service areas
  • Coordinate with property management for vendor access and larger repairs

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
  • Experience in residential maintenance or similar hands-on role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication with residents
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and respectful in resident spaces
