Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Rochester, United States. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.

  • Overnight hours are from 8 pm - 8 am
  • Perform general cleaning duties in resident apartments, hallways, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new resident move-ins
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to resident and guest requests to ensure their satisfaction
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized living environment
  • Support emergency response efforts when necessary
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions with residents, visitors, and colleagues
  • Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within given timeframes
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and a customer-focused approach
  • Pay Range is $17-$18/hr
Qualifications
  • No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to make independent decisions and solve practical problems as situations arise
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and resident needs
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about various cleaning products and techniques
  • Time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor when interacting with residents, guests, and co-workers
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a residential setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Customer-service oriented with a commitment to resident satisfaction
