Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Vehicle Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated areas through proactive patrols and surveillance. This role requires strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

  • Conduct regular vehicle patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activities.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify potential security threats.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to the public.
  • Assist in conflict management and resolution as necessary, ensuring a safe environment for all.
  • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, demonstrating preparedness for emergencies.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring practices is an advantage.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
