Press Brake Operator Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and operate equipment to fabricate products according to engineering drawings and parameters.
  • Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake machines per blueprints and production schedules.
  • Program press brakes and select the required machine programs.
  • Perform loading and unloading of materials, changing tools as needed.
  • Interpret blueprints and ensure accuracy in fabrication.
  • Use calipers and other measuring tools to inspect parts for quality compliance.
  • Evaluate finished pieces to meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating a brake press in a metal fabrication setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.without any restrictions is required.
  • HS Diploma or GED is required.
