Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Computer Vision to join our small but growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and a strong background in computer vision technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that leverage computer vision techniques to enhance our products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

You will be working in the world of firearms and will regularly be around and working with military weapons systems.

Duties

  • Design and develop computer vision algorithms and applications to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Implement robust software solutions using languages such as Python, C++, and Rust.
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews.

Requirements:

  • You MUST be a US citizen (Due to ITAR)
  • No criminal record
  • Comfortable around firearms
  • In person work only (Carson City, NV)
  • Okay working directly with police and military units and military weapons
  • 5-10% time traveling

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with software development with a focus on computer vision in a professional environment.

or

  • Master / PHD with a focus on computer vision + 1 year professional experience.
