About THIS OPPORTUNITY: 

As a Traveling Assistant Project Manager, you'll support Project Managers in coordinating and supervising all phases of our repipe and infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on experience while helping keep projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly. This role involves travel locally, regionally, and nationally as needed, supporting projects within one of our regional divisions - East Coast, West Coast, or Southwest.  

The Traveling Assistant Project Manager role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time exempt position, reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager. This role is perfect for someone with construction or project coordination experience who is eager to grow into a Project Manager role. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day oversight of jobsite activities 
  • Help coordinate plumbing, carpentry, and drywall crews to meet quality and safety standards 
  • Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and escalates concerns to the Project Manager 
  • Support scheduling, material tracking, site logistics 
  • Communicate professionally with residents and clients to resolve questions or concerns 
  • Help prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation 
  • Transport materials between vendors and job sites as needed 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

Key Requirements: 

  • 1-3 years of experience supporting construction crews, site operations, or project coordination 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Positive, proactive, and solutions oriented attitude 
  • Basic computer skills: email, internet, Word, and Excel 
  • Personal vehicle suitable for regular local and regional transport 
  • Ability to travel frequently and relocate for short or long term projects 
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 25-50 lbs. 
  • High school diploma or GED 

PREFERRED CANDIDATES  Prior trades experience, hands-on construction knowledge, or coursework/degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications are a plus. 

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annualized base pay based upon experience and qualifications
