As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering the opportunity to interact with the public while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying identification as required.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to support incident response.
• Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A current and valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• A current and valid armed guard card or license is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
