The Furniture Warehouse – Southwest Florida

Join one of Southwest Florida's leading independent furniture chains The Furniture Warehouse is a successful, family-owned company with six thriving locations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Store Manager with proven sales and leadership experience to drive results and lead our sales team to success.

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for both personal selling and managing the performance and development of the sales team at our North Sarasota showroom.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Train and develop sales associates on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service
  • Work with sales team to maximize sales and profitability
  • Attain both personal and store goals in sales volume and related revenue metrics
  • Management coverage of the store location, including opening and closing of the store
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about furniture products
  • Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs
  • Analyze and process customer orders accurately
  • Provide outstanding customer services before and after the sale
  • Ensure that furniture is delivered to customers in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Must have Furniture experience
  • Proven track record in commission-based sales, preferably in the furniture industry
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or retail management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive earnings: $80,000-$120,000, including base salary, commission, and bonuses
  • Aggressive commission schedules with no caps
